Kit captures emails and nurtures readers into buyers. Canva creates comparison graphics and featured images. Notion tracks all your affiliate links, commissions, and content calendar.

Plan-specific access matters more than a tool’s “free” label. Read the dated profile linked above, then confirm your seat count, usage, billing basis and required export or publishing feature.

Choose your niche and set up Webflow blog
Pick a profitable affiliate niche and scaffold your Webflow site with a blog CMS collection.
- Pick a niche where products cost $50+ and have recurring commissions (SaaS tools, online courses, equipment)
- Sign up at webflow.com and create a new project - choose a blog template or start blank
- Set up a CMS collection called "Reviews" with fields: Title, Slug, Body, Rating, Pros, Cons, Affiliate Link, Featured Image
- Create your homepage with a hero section explaining what your site reviews and who it helps
- Add an About page that builds trust - readers buy from people they trust
Install Ahrefs and do keyword research
Use Ahrefs to find low-competition buyer-intent keywords that will drive organic traffic to your reviews.
- Sign up for Ahrefs and go to Keywords Explorer
- Search for "[your niche] + best", "[your niche] + review", "[your niche] + vs" - these are buyer-intent keywords
- Filter results by KD (Keyword Difficulty) under 30 and search volume above 200
- Export your top 10-15 keyword ideas to a spreadsheet or Notion database
- Check the top-ranking pages for each keyword - note what they cover and how you can add more value
Write your first review posts
Create SEO-optimized review content that genuinely helps readers make purchase decisions.
- Start with 3 cornerstone posts: one "Best X for Y" listicle, one detailed single-product review, and one "X vs Y" comparison
- Use a consistent review template: Introduction → Who It's For → Key Features → Pricing → Pros & Cons → Verdict
- Add your affiliate links naturally within the content - don't force them, place them where readers are ready to click
- Create comparison graphics in Canva showing feature tables, pricing breakdowns, and rating badges
- Add an FTC disclosure at the top of every review post ("This post contains affiliate links…")
Set up Kit email capture

- Sign up at convertkit.com and create a new account for your review site
- Create a lead magnet: a free PDF like "Top 10 Tools for [Your Niche]" or a comparison cheatsheet
- Build a Kit landing page or inline form for the lead magnet
- Embed the signup form on your Webflow blog - add it in the sidebar, after posts, and as a pop-up
- Set up a 5-email welcome sequence that delivers the lead magnet, shares your best reviews, and recommends top picks
Add affiliate links and track with Notion
Organize all your affiliate partnerships, links, and commissions in a central Notion dashboard.
- Create a Notion database called "Affiliate Links" with columns: Program, Product, Link, Commission Rate, Cookie Duration, Status
- Add a second database for "Content Calendar" linked to your keyword research - track which posts are drafted, published, and ranking
- Create a "Revenue Tracker" view that logs monthly commissions by program
- Add your affiliate links to a "Resources" page on your Webflow site - a curated tools page converts well
