What You'll Build

A professional online presence with a polished website, online booking, payment processing, branded marketing materials, and an email list to keep customers coming back.

Prerequisites

Architecture

Framer hosts your business website with all the key info customers need. Calendly embeds directly on your site for appointment booking. Stripe handles online payments for services or deposits. Canva creates your visual marketing assets. ConvertKit builds your email list and sends promotions to repeat customers.

Customer → Framer (website) → Calendly (booking) + Stripe (payment) → ConvertKit (follow-up emails)

5 Steps

1
Framer

Build a business website with Framer

~30 min

Create a professional website for your local business with all the essential pages and information customers need to find and trust you.

  1. Sign into Framer and start a new project - choose a business-appropriate template or start from a blank canvas
  2. Build your homepage with: a hero section featuring your business name and main service, a services overview with pricing, business hours and location, and a clear CTA to book an appointment
  3. Add an About page with your story, team photos, and credentials
  4. Add a Services page with detailed descriptions and pricing for each offering
  5. Add a Contact page with your address, phone number, email, and an embedded Google Map
💡
Tip: Include your phone number and address in the site header or footer on every page. Local customers want to call or visit - make it effortless.
2
Calendly

Set up Calendly for appointments & booking

~15 min

Configure Calendly to let customers book appointments directly from your website, with automatic calendar syncing and email reminders.

  1. Sign up at calendly.com and connect your Google or Outlook calendar
  2. Create event types for each service you offer (e.g., "30-min Consultation", "1-hour Session", "Free Discovery Call")
  3. Set your availability windows - match your actual business hours
  4. Customize the booking form to collect relevant info (name, phone, service details, special requests)
  5. Embed Calendly on your Framer website: add an embed element and paste your Calendly scheduling link
💡
Tip: Enable Calendly's automatic reminder emails (24 hours and 1 hour before) to reduce no-shows by up to 30%.
3
Stripe

Configure Stripe for online payments

~15 min

Set up Stripe to accept online payments for services, deposits, or gift cards directly from your website.

  1. Sign up at stripe.com and complete your business verification
  2. Create a Payment Link in the Stripe Dashboard for each service or deposit amount (no code needed)
  3. Customize the checkout page with your logo and brand colors
  4. Add the Stripe Payment Links as buttons on your Framer website - link your "Pay Now" or "Book & Pay" buttons directly to the payment URLs
  5. Set up automatic email receipts in Stripe under Settings → Emails
💡
Tip: Stripe Payment Links are the fastest way to accept online payments - no coding required. You can create one in under 2 minutes.
4
Canva

Create marketing materials in Canva

~20 min

Design professional marketing materials to promote your business online and in your local community.

  1. Sign into Canva and set up a Brand Kit with your logo, brand colors, and fonts
  2. Create social media templates for Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business posts - make 3-5 variations you can reuse
  3. Design a promotional flyer or postcard for local distribution
  4. Create a simple business card design if you don't have one yet
  5. Design a "Grand Opening" or "Now Online" announcement graphic to share across all channels
💡
Tip: Use Canva's Brand Kit feature to save your colors and fonts. Every design you create will automatically stay on-brand.
5
ConvertKit

Set up ConvertKit for email marketing

~20 min

Build an email list and set up automated email marketing to keep customers engaged and drive repeat business.

  1. Sign up at convertkit.com and create your account with your business name
  2. Create a signup form with an incentive - offer a discount code, free resource, or exclusive update for subscribers
  3. Embed the ConvertKit form on your Framer website (use the HTML embed code or a direct link)
  4. Create a 3-email welcome sequence: welcome + discount code, introduce your services, ask for a review or referral
  5. Plan a monthly or bi-weekly email newsletter to share updates, promotions, and tips relevant to your customers
💡
Tip: Offer a "10% off your first visit" incentive for email signups. It costs you very little but dramatically increases your subscriber rate.
