Netlify is a good fit for a team that wants code changes to produce a reviewable preview before they reach the main domain. That workflow is often the strongest reason to choose the platform, especially for content sites and frontend-heavy applications. Its current pricing needs a workload estimate, because production deploys, traffic and compute draw from a shared credit balance. A small site that publishes frequently can have a different cost profile from a quiet site with occasional traffic spikes. I would run a representative build, check framework behavior and estimate one busy month before moving the domain. Functions and database features can simplify the stack, but also increase the amount tied to one provider; keep rollback and export procedures part of the evaluation.
