Gemini app subscriptions
Google’s Gemini app announcement makes Argon available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. It also introduces Antigravity’s coding interface inside the Gemini macOS app. Those statements establish the named subscription tiers and app surface; they do not establish every account’s regional eligibility or usage allowance.
Developer and Cloud access
The developer announcement identifies the paid Gemini API tier in AI Studio and Android Studio. It separately names Google AI Ultra subscriber access in AI Studio and Google Antigravity. A subscription route and a paid API route are distinct: the announcement does not provide a numeric API rate or a transferable allowance between them.
Google Cloud also announced Argon availability on 13 October. This review does not establish Cloud project eligibility, regional deployment options or a Cloud price quote.
GitHub Copilot has its own rollout and billing
GitHub’s announcement lists Copilot Pro+, Max, Business and Enterprise. It says rollout is gradual and that the model uses provider list pricing under usage-based billing. Supported surfaces include VS Code, Visual Studio, Copilot CLI, the coding agent and app, JetBrains, Xcode and Eclipse.
That is not a quote for a fixed monthly amount, nor evidence that all accounts already show the model. The source links to GitHub’s model-pricing documentation; this report leaves numeric rates and account-specific costs unverified.
What to record before a trial
For a reproducible comparison, record the product surface, account plan, visible model name, billing basis and task alongside the result. The coding task worksheet can hold those conditions. Leave unavailable fields blank rather than treating a subscription name as a usage guarantee.
The Gemini, Antigravity and Copilot profiles retain their separately dated evaluations and price observations. A model launch does not establish a new comparative winner.
