Free access does not include Cloud
Codex is included with ChatGPT Free, subject to usage limits. Codex Cloud is not included on Free or Go. The help page also includes Codex with Go. Eligible Plus and paid workspace accounts can access Cloud, subject to rollout and settings. Our earlier trial-only wording is superseded by this current documentation check.
Which Pro allowances changed?
Pro 100 and Pro 500 Work/Codex allowances doubled. Only the lower Pro 200 allowance doubled to match the higher allowance. Plus usage is unchanged. Existing subscribers receive the update without waiting for renewal. More allowance does not guarantee twice as many completed tasks.
Keep the billing basis clear
Pro 100: USD 100/month; Pro 200: USD 200/month; Pro 500: USD 500/month, all with monthly billing. Pro has no annual billing option. Ultrafast remains exclusive to Pro 500 among these tiers. Absolute quotas and Business Premium increase amounts were not established in this check.
