Runway is worth evaluating as a shot-development tool when the team can judge individual generations and assemble the result into an edited piece. A subscription buys attempts measured in credits, not a guaranteed number of usable finished clips. Model, duration and resolution alter consumption, and discarded variations belong in the budget. The broader media workspace can be convenient for exploring a visual direction, but continuity, precise product details and repeatable client revisions still need a deliberate workflow. Start with one tightly specified shot and evaluate whether it can be revised without changing the subject. Standard and Pro credits expire monthly, which makes sustained usage different from a one-off production sprint. An API integration needs a separate cost estimate because creative subscriptions do not fund API calls.
