These are USD support-page rates, not a UK quote. GBP pricing is regional; the UK marketing headline did not state a billing interval, so it is not used as a monthly quote.

A second pass on your own draft

Grammarly fits a final editing pass when your argument and evidence are already on the page. Begin with a paragraph you wrote, review each suggestion and keep the version that says what you mean. A smoother sentence can still overstate a source or remove an important qualification.

For student work, separate proofreading from generating new assessed text. Your course's policy determines what is permitted and what needs disclosure. A paid subscription or a detection result does not give permission to submit rewritten material as your own work.

Try the basic job before upgrading

The documented free spelling, grammar and tone checks cover a useful first question: can it identify a small set of errors in a draft you understand? Make a copy before editing and compare the before/after text. Look for meaning changes, specialist terminology and references that should stay untouched. This is a suggested evaluation, not a test result.

Full-sentence rewrites and plagiarism features are listed in the paid tier. Pay only if an allowed, repeated task needs that capability; an AI-text detector should not replace the source record and drafting history you can actually explain. The existence of a feature does not establish its accuracy.

Read the billing basis

The dated table below records the explicit USD support rates and keeps monthly billing separate from an annual-payment equivalent. A trial headline does not establish a permanent free allowance or a UK renewal quote. Check the selected currency, renewal date, included usage and total payment before subscribing.

Assessment scope: source-based judgment written 20 October. Official free-feature and usage documentation was read; the numerical price snapshot retains 19 October. No draft was sent to Grammarly, extension installed, paid trial started or detection-accuracy test performed.
