    Anthropic added weekly rate limits to Claude Pro and Max - power users finally get a ceiling

    On top of the existing 5-hour limits, Anthropic introduced two weekly limits (overall + Opus-specific). Stated coverage: less than 5% of subscribers based on usage at the time. Real-world: anyone running Claude Code agents 8+ hours a day on Pro will hit it. Practical guide: Pro = 40-80h Sonnet 4/week, $100 Max = 140-280h Sonnet 4 plus 15-35h Opus 4, $200 Max = 240-480h Sonnet 4 plus 24-40h Opus 4. If you're running heavy agentic loops, $200 Max is now the floor not the ceiling - and overage is API-rate, which adds up quickly.
