Our evaluation

Cal.com is an appealing scheduling candidate when one person needs several booking types without immediately buying a team plan. For a group, the more important question is how meetings are distributed and what happens when the eligible host is unavailable. Weighted round-robin, collective events and routing can support different operating models, so define the rule before testing the calendar interface. Do not compare a hosted subscription with self-hosting as if deployment and maintenance were free; this price observation covers the hosted service. Check time-zone transitions, buffers and cancellation behavior with real calendar conflicts. A booking tool succeeds when the right person receives a usable appointment and follow-up, rather than simply when it offers many integrations.
