Our evaluation

Auth0 makes sense when authentication requirements extend beyond adding a sign-in form, especially when several applications or business customers need different identity connections. Centralized login can reduce the authentication UI that your application maintains, but the application must still enforce authorization correctly after receiving an identity. Define the required identity providers, tenant boundaries, recovery process and audit needs before comparing prices. The public B2C example is a narrow scenario, not a forecast for a business product needing many SSO connections. Evaluate failure paths as carefully as successful login: a removed employee, an expired session and an attempted cross-organization request expose integration mistakes that a polished login screen will not reveal.

Try one complete task

In a development tenant, integrate hosted login, password recovery and two organizations. Test an expired session, a removed member and cross-organization access, then price the actual connection and MAU requirements.
