Cursor live apps: access and publishing controls

Paid plans with cloud agents can publish apps. Repository support, sharing and administrator controls still set the boundaries.

From a cloud agent to a live link

Cursor’s 5 November release lets a cloud agent build and host an app, adding Postgres and Cursor sign-in when needed. Access requires a paid plan with cloud agents enabled.

The release supports new or existing Cursor Origin and GitHub repositories. GitLab support is announced for later. Nothing is published until checks pass and the user explicitly publishes.

Read Cursor’s release notes.

Sharing and team controls

Apps can be shared with people, groups or a team behind Cursor sign-in. Individual plans can also publish publicly. Team administrators can inspect apps and secrets, add review rules, approve blocked publishes and take apps offline.

The announcement does not establish a hosting allowance or a total app bill. It also does not turn provider security checks into an independent security guarantee.

The Cursor profile retains its separately dated subscription prices. Read the source receipt.
