# Example issue fixture

Synthetic content for a private draft/preview · not sent to subscribers

Subject: Before adding another tool, check your exit
Preheader: Three fields to inspect before a workflow becomes hard to move.

A new tool is easier to adopt when you know how you can leave it.

Before moving your next workflow, write down three things:

1. The work you need to recover: documents, drafts or published content.
2. The relationships you need to preserve: audience status, tags and permission records.
3. The bills you need to stop or transfer: subscriptions, usage and customer payments.

Then request a small export and open it. A download button is only the first step. Check that the fields have useful names, non-English characters survive and cancelled records cannot accidentally become active again.

This week's action: choose one tool you already use and list the three fields you would need in order to leave it.
